License Details
This consolidated license authorizes the use of the Font Software for both Desktop (Print/Design) and Web usage.
Scope:
Desktop: Installation on Workstations for design use (Logos, Social Media, Posters, PDFs).
Web: Usage on Websites via @font-face technology.
Tiers: Purchased based on a combination of Users and Monthly Pageviews.
Example: “Small: Up to 3 Users & 50,000 Pageviews/Month”
If you exceed either limit, you are obliged to upgrade your license.
Authorizes the embedding of the Font Software into mobile applications or digital publications.
Scope: Secure embedding in iOS/Android Apps or ePub/Kindle files.
Metrics: Based on the number of distinct Titles (Software or Book titles).
Example: “1 App or ePub” covers one distinct game title or book.
Full font files for testing and evaluation.
How to get: Go to the font page and fill out the Trial Request form.
Permitted: Internal mockups, pitching to clients, personal evaluation, student work.
Prohibited: Commercial use, live websites/apps.
Note: Trial files cannot be embedded. You must convert to outlines for PDFs/mockups sent to clients.
Products labeled as Freebies (Fonts, Posters, Graphics) come with broader rights.
Free Fonts: May include Standard Desktop/Web License (Check specific read_me.txt).
Open Source: Governed by OFL (Open Font License).
Graphics: Free for Personal & Commercial usage (attribution appreciated).
