1. Introduction
These terms apply when you buy fonts from Bahasatype. By placing an order, you agree to these rules. We keep things simple and fair.
- You = The customer (Designer, Studio, or Company).
- We = Bahasatype (The foundry).
2. How Buying Works
- Ordering: You select a license, fill in your details, and pay.
- Delivery: Once payment is confirmed, you get an immediate email with a download link for your font files.
- Contract: The “deal” is officially made when we send you the files.
3. Prices & Payment
- Currency: All prices are as shown on the website.
- Taxes: If applicable (e.g., VAT depending on your location), taxes will be calculated at checkout.
- Payment Methods: We accept PayPal and major Credit Cards (Visa/Mastercard) via secure gateways.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Since fonts are digital software that cannot be “returned,” all sales are final.
- Exception: If the font file is technically broken and we can’t fix it, we will issue a full refund.
- Mistakes: If you accidentally bought the wrong style (e.g., Bold instead of Regular), email us immediately before downloading, and we might be able to swap it.
5. What You Are Buying (Rights)
When you buy a font, you are buying a License to Use it, not the ownership of the design itself.
- Your rights (what you can/cannot do) are fully explained in our End User License Agreement (EULA).
- You must agree to the EULA before checkout.
6. Warranty
- 14 Days: We guarantee the font files work for 14 days after purchase. If you find a bug, let us know, and we’ll fix it or replace it.
- After 1 year: The warranty expires, but we generally try to help with updates if possible.
7. Liability
- We make great fonts, but we aren’t responsible if a typo in your printed brochure costs you money.
- Our liability is strictly limited to the price you paid for the license.
8. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
- English Language: This document is written in English. If a translated version conflicts with this one, the English version wins.
